Paratek Pharmaceuticals, Inc announced results of preclinical studies demonstrating that a new class of compounds, orally available non-antibacterial tetracycline, similar to the effect documented by minocycline in treating MS, but without the side-effects of antibiotics. (Also reported by Scott) art: This study was only done in mice so far.
