Seasonal Fluctuations in MS

Seasonal variation in immune measurements and MRI markers of disease activity in MS J. Killestein, M. H.G. Rep, J. F. Meilof, H. J. Ader, B. M.J. Uitdehaag, F. Barkhof, R. A.W. van Lier, and C. H. Polman Neurology 2002;58 1077-1080
The authors find significant seasonal fluctuation in T cell activation but no seasonal variation of number of active MRI leisons in patitents with MS. The authors conclude the findings suggest an environmental role in T cell fluctuation.
