Blood test to measure MS disease activity

Yahoo! has this report of researchers in Florence who will be marketing a blood kit to measure antibodies in blood that they claim correlate with disease activity in MS. This would be a quicker, cheaper way to measure activity than the usual MRI - if it is for real.
