Entelos and MIT team up to model immune disease

Entelos is announcing a partnership with the new Bioengineering department at MIT to study the key intracellular communication hubs of T lymphocytes to quantitatively map intracellular pathways that respond to different stimuli and then regulate response by these cells. Entelos makes software to model biological systems so that experiments can be run on the computer to look for new pathways to investigate. This can be done far more cheaply and quickly than with animals and humans so lots more things can be tried. The trade off is less accuracy, but it's another avenue to explore. They are interested in MS as a target disease to model.
