Death due to "complications from MS" - huh?

I occasionally read stories like this one. They indicate someone died due to 'complications from MS', but they never say what those complications are. Does anyone know what they can be? I can guess, but any of you out there actually know specifics from an actual situation? Inquiring (and demyelinating) minds want to know...
