Multiple Sclerosis Foundation's annual cruise is an innovative educational program at sea, "It's all about MEE" - Motivating, Educating and Empowering individuals with Multiple Sclerosis.
The MSF Cruise for a Cause is not a fundraising event - it is an innovative educational program at sea, providing the opportunity for people with MS to meet and learn from renowned MS specialists, hear motivational speakers, have fun with others with MS, and break beyond barriers - both physical and emotional - all aboard a luxury cruise ship.
The Transverse Myelitis Association and the Johns Hopkins Project RESTORE (the TM and MS Centers) are co-sponsoring the 2008 Rare Neuroimmunologic Disorders Symposium. The symposium is for people who have TM, MS, ADEM, NMO and ON, their family members and the medical professionals who provide clinical care to people with these disorders.
The symposium is an educational and networking opportunity for people who have the neuroimmunologic conditions and their caregivers, for the medical professionals who provide treatment to this rare disease population, as well as scientists and physicians who are performing research in rehabilitative and restorative therapies.
I went to this event the last time they had it and it was fantastic. Great talks, meeting the docs and other patients, fun dinners and get togethers - all around good time.
This year, we're going to be enrolling people in the repository at the symposium. Click here for more info on doing that.
If you are in the Bay Area, please join us for a reception to benefit Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis and MSFriends.
Reflecting is a joint effort to raise funds and awareness for two MS nonprofit organizations working together to improve the quality of life for those affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Tickets are $25 per person. Enjoy Sonoma wines, Lagunitas Brewing Company beer, a buffet of appetizers, live jazz from the Vince Lateano Trio, and a silent auction at Gallery 291 in Union Square, San Francisco, CA...
